Grigory Luchansky: the witch hunt
As it transpired years later, 11 government agencies from various countries were investigating Nordex and Luchansky – based on nothing more than false and slanderous media reports. It was a prolonged politically motivated campaign to destroy reputation and business. A true witch hunt.
These investigations have produced nothing: no criminal cases, no trials, not to say convictions. In spite of that, no official apologies have ever been offered to Dr Luchansky either for his ruined business at Nordex or for moral damages.
Forced to wage a war against slander and prejudice, Grigory Luchansky and NORDEX have initiated 26 lawsuits against media outlets and government agencies in different countries, and won all 26 cases.
In 1996 State Department spokesman Nicholas Burns and in 1997 the FBI Director Louis Freeh confirmed at press conferences in Tel Aviv and Moscow that the United States did not have any specific charges against Nordex or its management.
